My absolute favorite book that takes place during a holiday is Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott, which starts while the girls are getting ready for Christmas without their father. Thanks for reminding me of one of my childhood favorites!

"A Christmas Carol" is probably my favorite, but "Pumpkinheads" by Rainbow Rowell gives me ALL the fall vibes for that whole September-November stretch of time (and the holidays that come with it). :)

The black jersey is an outstanding and gripping novel. As soon as I read Tour de France I was going to comment on this book.

Thank you for the translation. (I read the original in Spanish)

I love "My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories" - like a delicious sampler platter of holiday stories with different themes and styles.

Since I'm really into the 3 Pines series at the moment I'll recommend A Fatal Grace (Christmas) and The Cruelest Month (Easter)
