Want to recognize Small Press Month or are thinking about three years of Covid-19
I *just* finished Night of the Living Rez, and agree that though dark, I will be thinking about this book & its characters for a long time...
(Bonus rec: just prior to Talty’s book, I read David Treuer’s The Living Heart of Wounded Knee, which gave great/helpful context.)
It's one of those books that I'm glad I read but I'm not sure I liked if that makes sense?
💯! It was not an easy read, but it was also a very propulsive read for me. Quite a ride, for sure (and probably not for everyone)…
Thanks for the Séamas O'Reilly rec! You might also like the debut autobiographical novel from FSG Close to Home by Belfast author Michael Magee.
Ooh. Thanks! So much great Irish lit the last few yers (and always really).
