This might sound silly but I had been thinking that "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" was a Macbeth reference and that this book was a modern Macbeth retelling. Have I misunderstood? Do I need to stop seeing the world through a weird Shakespearean lens? (Don't answer that last one.)
Saw the subject line and IMMEDIATELY knew the rec would be Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow <3. I'm in the last few pages right now and so, so reluctant to leave that world.
Speaking of book hangovers, I had a HUGE one after reading The Darkness Outside Us. It's a YA sci-fi/romance/mystery book set in space. It's hard to do it justice by putting random genre labels on it but oh my goooooodness. Highly recommend but be prepared for that book hangover afterwards!!
Did someone say Jane Austen?! LOL, love your picks here, some of our faves!
I pictured you popping out of a hedge and saying this 😂
Absolutely - was popping out of those "shades of Pemberley" lol
Oooh I’m so glad Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow lives up to the hype! That cover has had a chokehold on me for months.
I just finished it and it was amazing.

It is a Macbeth reference! You'll see!
I will, because I'm very excited about reading this one!

It destroyed me. In the best way. It might be time for the first What To Read If book club.
Here for it!
Just placed a hold at the library for "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow." It looks great.
Let me know what you think!
The book “Rethinking Fandom” definitely captured my attention. Would love to discuss with you!
