I just read New Kid by Jerry Craft after hearing a This American Life episode about the book being banned by a school district after parent complaints. This young (8-12 yr olds) YA graphic novel is funny, sweet, interesting, and should not be banned. Highly recommend and glad that my local library is keeping it circulated.
I've read a couple of Christina Lauren books I've enjoyed and another that I didn't. I think my state of mind has a lot to do with when I enjoy reading their books. I've learned there are certain authors that I read when I want a light, uncomplicated, fun read and these fall into that category for me.
I have had Gold Diggers on my list forever, and I love that you loved it and listened to it! I think I'll make that my next audiobook, as I have been on such a listening spree lately! And in weird coincidences, I just checked out Margaret and the Mystery of the Missing Body last week from the library!

Was so happy to have you! Also, I've had Gold Diggers sitting on my bedside table for nearly a year--this bumped it up to the top of the pile!

“Margaret…” is now on hold at my library. (It was hard to find though. Only 1 of the libraries in my network owns it).
The paperback swap is a fun idea!
