Thanks, Elizabeth, for the recommendation on I Hope this Finds You Well. What a great read. Enjoyed it immensely. Natalie Sue’s depiction of grief, trauma, depression are spot on but the book is not a depressing read. I found it hopeful and I loved rooting for Jolene right up to the last word on the last page. Thanks for your recs!!

It's amazing how it grapples with grief without ever crossing over to being too heavy.

So true! I enjoyed reading how Jolene changed as the book progressed and how she came to terms with her grief.

I enjoy your newsletter. Most weeks ,at least one of your recs goes on my TBR list - which is becoming longer and longer! 😂

Thanks for mentioning Frozen River. I read and loved it but had forgotten the title. I'm now going to look for what else Lawton has written.

I finished The Frozen River yesterday and wow, what an amazing book. You describe it perfectly in terms of genre and I think that’s partly what I loved about it! I’ve been eyeing I hope This Finds You Well- might have to put it on the TBR!
