The Percy Jackson tv series is soooo good. As a die hard fan of the books, which I didn't read until I was at university, I think it's a rock solid adaptation. The young actors are so sweet and the writers have made some really great updates to the story (Medusa's backstory for one). How are you finding it?
I am currently listening to Wintering on audio and enjoying it immensely despite it being mid-summer here in Australia. The heat has the same effect of wanting you to lie about reading, but under a fan instead of a blanket.
