If anyone finds themselves in the Venn diagram of people interested in Internet scams and crypto shenanigans (a perfect circle?), I enjoyed the Edgar nominated Number Go Up a lot more than I expected to!
I really loved this one. 1) He admits on page one SBF got him and 2) he essentially took down a human trafficking ring b/c his friend got a trip to Disney.
I can't stop thinking about that terribly sad young Oompa Loompa handing out the jelly beans. Did she have to try out, with a resume and headshot? Were there callbacks? Did her agent get 15%?

Omg the sad Oompa Loompa
Photo of the year. She gave a great interview to vulture: https://www.vulture.com/article/glasgow-sad-oompa-loompa-interview.html

I need a full true crime podcast about this. Or a documentary?
As I am not quite ready to start the yearly baseball movie binge.
(Tom brought the topic up on Saturday and was quickly shot down)
I was thrilled to see this book recommendation in my box this morning.
Thank you, Miss Liz!
What movies are on the list?
Bull Durham
The Sandlot
A League of Their Own
Field of Dreams
8 Men Out
Are the musts, all others are up for debate.
Roxane Gay really is an amazing literary citizen, isn't she?
At the least, a Dateline with Keith Morrison (or Bill Hader).
