For anyone who enjoys "Ice," I would also recommend "Fresh: A Perishable History" by Susanne Freidburg. It's a more academic book (I read it for a sociology class) but was fascinating and has stuck with me (said sociology class was in 2011) -- I still regularly think about it when making food decisions.
Added "Please be Advised" to my list. I work in communications now, so this one really sounds like a hoot.
Hot Dog was the last book I read to my students last school year and I could not have loved it more!
It's such a joy! I'm hoping to get a few signed copies at the National Book Festival next week.
^^Christine Sneed's book is so great.
Ooh I’ve been looking for more funny books with unconventional formats so appreciate the Christine Sneed rec!
Check and Check.

Ooooh. Will check it out.
I heard part of an interview with the author of the book about ice on NPR. Your review pushed me to order the book. Thanks.
It feels like it's right up your alley.
Adding Ice & Please Be Advised to my to read list.
Enjoy!
Excited about Nic Blake... And I've been hearing great things about Ice
That is wild!
