LMK what you think. It's a quirky one but I really liked it.

I love the cover of the Phoenix Pencil Company as well as the storyline. Re the second rec, have you read Metronome? Maybe it was you who recommended it, come to think of it. It has similar themes and I enjoyed it.

In the vein of the last one, I also just read and loved Where Are You, Echo Blue? by Hayley Krischer - highly recommend if you haven't read it yet!

I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to *not* have a favorite pen or pencil and simply can't imagine it.

Girl on Girl sounds so interesting but I'm worried it will just make me mad/depressed in the current climate.

In some ways, it reminded me that progress isn't linear and that this too will pass? But in other ways, super depressing.

I also love the Pilot G-2, especially the 05 with purple ink! I've jumped on the holds list for The Phoenix Pencil Company. I usually use mechanical pencils, Zebra's M-301 0.5, but recently got a Blackwing pencil and love it.

Yes, they are a little difficult to find. I ordered a bunch off of Ebay just recently.

This round up is SO good. The phoenix pencil company was genuinely excellent.

I also love seeing Katie Cotugno get love - she is criminally underrated, I fear.

There is a book coming out this year that is meticulously researched about a fictional female pop star in the vein of Britney Spears but I cannot fro the life of me remember the title. It looked outstanding though!
