So good to know! I will check out the audio book. I've been wanting to re-read Milkman and this may be the best way to do it.

I read Milkman on a cross-country flight and I think that was the perfect experience for me. I had no distractions and could really focus on it. It's a hard one to dip in and out of.

Thanks for the recs - just reserved Small Things Like These and Milkman from the library. And so the TBR gets every bigger and more daunting...

This is the nature of the TBR stack: daunting yet do alluring. I hope you enjoy these reads too.

It's beautiful in its own way. I prefer Eire to Northern Ireland because the religious strife is still so noticable in North. Schools are segregated by religions as are neighborhoods in the various cities. Never say County Londonderry it's always "Derry" or Doire in Irish. And the language isn't called garlic it's just called Irish. Go to Dublin it's gorgeous

Great choices and as someone who has been to Northern Ireland and Ireland these books hit close to home

I knew what you meant! Autocorrect is not always our friend, right? Where in NH? That's where I grew up, in Jefferson.
