Wow, all of these books are exactly what I wanted to read right now, but somehow didn't know?! So excited to pick up The Really Dead Wives of New Jersey for when I can't needle my partner into watching the next episode of The Traitors right away!
Traitors was SO GOOD this week. I have no shame in how much I love that show. Alan Cumming is a delight and the contestants are such a range of dum dum to savvy, it is fascinating to see how their brains work.
I started watching Traitors but maybe I didn't get it? The stakes didn't seem very high... not like The Mole back in the day where it was really a secret.
I finally gave Traitors a try over the weekend—I could barely get through half an episode! I really enjoyed the original versions of The Mole but I found everyone really grating (Alan Cumming the exception, of course). I also don't often watch reality TV, so half the cast being folks from that world probably doesn't help my cause.
In any case, the Lady Sherlock series sounds super interesting! Especially with how frigid this week is going to be, a nice cozy mystery is terrific.
Why would anyone be ashamed of watching such a fun and entertaining show? Meanwhile, to clarify: the cast is made up of all C-list celebrities. But if you're ranking them by their reality show status, there are a few A-list reality stars - Boston Rob and Wes from The Challenge are most definitely A-list reality stars. Rob may be the most famous of all the reality stars. (Of course if you count the Kardashians, they would rank higher on the reality-star list.) Anyway, Traitors is incredibly entertaining. I watch the UK, Aussie and NZ versions as well, and they too are entertaining, although Alan Cumming is far and away a cut above all. Anyone who is not watching the current season of The Traitors is truly missing out on some wonderful TV.
absolutely no shame in the Traitors — it is the only thing getting me through the winter tbh!
The outfits alone.
Honestly would just watch Alan Cumming riding around on a horse talking in menacing rhymes for an hour 😂
1000%

What I'm gleaning from this comment section is that we need to have a group watch session.
Loving this season of Traitors!!!
I could listen to Alan Cumming say "murder" all day.
I can hear it now. Murrrrderrr.

Based on "dum dum," I'm sharing this...https://www.vulture.com/article/the-traitors-tom-sandoval-steals-every-scene-in-season-3.html
He really is, to use a clinical diagnosis, dumber than a bag of hair
I STILL need to see traitors, a show seemingly crafted for my taste! Thanks for reminder and as always for the great book recs 📚
It was MADE for you.
Absolutely love the Lady Sherlock series. I am parsing them out, but I think I'm due for the next one soon. And I consume them by audio too. So good!
That's me and the Veronica Speedwell series! Always keeping one in reserved.
This is actually as perfect as this season of Traitors, thank you
Nothing to be embarrassed about. I love Traitors.🤗♥️
My hot take is that I'm tired of Boston Rob even though he is great at these games.
I'm not sure how long Boston Rob is for this game.
The Blackberry movie is good! I’ve seen it twice. Will check out Traitors!
I just got into the traitors and it is SO GOOD. The unironic gasps were so real last episode!!!!!
The betrayal!
RIGHT!!!!!

I think it might be the lack of stakes that makes it work for me? It's just silly fun but I get that it wouldn't work for everybody.
thank you! I was in need of a new-to-me series for the long gloomy winter!
Enjoy! LMK what you think.

Hello my distant cousin! It is indeed cozy mystery season. Enjoy.

Okay. So I actually thought (over thought?) about the grade when I was writing it.
How I landed on B: They are A-list reality stars but C-list celebs so I averaged it to a B.
Who do you think will make it far this year? I think Dylan could be this year's Peter. (LOL at your brother is not a good actor.)/.
Added Losing the Signal to my long list of books to read.
Enjoy.
