My go-to rec is The House in the Cerulean Sea!! It is heartwarming with an interesting twist as the main characters are magical children in an orphanage.
What do "share what to read if" "swap recs with a friend" and "submit a rec to what to read if" mean and how do you do them and mark them on your card?
Hi Elizabeth. I checked it out on Twitter last night. Seems pretty controversial. I remember when books like Winnie the Pooh were banned from schools in New Zealand. I'm unlikely to be looking any of those books up, but is it OK to ask why these are excluded from this bingo?

Hi Melly, Thanks for reaching out! For each of these, we're just operating on the honor system.
Share what to read if: Send it to a friend or post it to social media or even just tell someone about it
Submit a rec: leave a comment with a book rec
Thanks!
How do we submit a rec to What To Read If?
You can leave a comment!
What is a banned book, please?
Hi Luigi! There are some books that people try to get removed from school and public libraries. You can see a list here: https://www.ala.org/advocacy/bbooks/frequentlychallengedbooks/top10

They're not! You get to fill in a square if you read one!
Also: Who could object to Winnie the Pooh?!
Ah, gotcha. As to Winnie apparently he and Christopher Robin liked magic mushrooms and had the odd hallucinations as did AA Milne :)
