I'm two books into the Wayfarer series by Becky Chambers and they're wonderful. I think I fell in love about 50 pages into the first book. They'll forever have a home on my shelf!

I keep hearing great things about these. Maybe they'll be my foray into sci fi.

For sure. I’m terrible at describing things but they’re an easy to understand and follow sci fi…comforting and home-y, if that makes sense. Some in the genre feel too big and over my head but these just clicked.

Looking forward to everyone's recommendations. I think the last series I read was A Series of Unfortunate Events with my kids 10 years ago!

My favorite series (besides Anne of Green Gables) is Louise Penny's Three Pines mysteries. So good, so delicious, so homey.

I love these books! So comforting for being books about murder.

This was a great issue, Elizabeth! I am a huge fan of mystery series and just put The Widows of Malabar Hill on hold at the library -- I've never heard of the Perveen Mistry series and am excited to see if I like them.

Also, Mother Bruce -- YES!

Also, also, I'd read anything Olivia recommends -- she's awesome and really knows her stuff. If you know anyone who has middle-grade kids in their lives, I can't recommend her newsletter enough.

The only two good things about this February is that it is going by pretty quickly, and this newsletter! Thank you for the shout out today. It's a HUGE honor!!!!

Yes, yes, yes! The Brown Sisters series is basically perfection. I think I’m with you on Chloe’s story being my fave.

Alisha Rai’s Modern Love series is another good one with smart, vulnerable women and very excellent spicy scenes.
