OK, it's like you're reading my mind! I just started The Inheritance Games this past week and am HOOKED. Already have book 2 lined up for when I finish the first, and it so has cozy puzzley Knives Out vibes!
Break out your fisherman's sweater! I think we're in each other's brains: I seriously considered rec'ing All The Girls I've Been this week, but decided that was too many YA thrillers.
I was just recommending The Inheritance Games to a coworker, and as I was describing the plot, another coworker chimed in and said, "This is literally the plot of Knives Out." It didn't hit me until he said that, but then I was like, "Ohhh no wonder I liked both of them so much."
I absolutely LOVED “Knives Out!” My husband and I watched it twice in one week. I was so intrigued by the character development as well as the dialogue that I wanted to keep watching it in hopes of absorbing some of the writers’ talent 😉 Thanks for the recommendations!
Oh man, these were good book recommendations but this just makes me want to watch Knives Out again. Here's hoping this is the next series we can watch Daniel Craig embody for a decade.
came from your substance feature and i love that the first post i saw was of knives out! thanks for introducing the term "sunshine noir" too
Hey! I just subscribed to your newsletter! Looks very cool.
I DID love Knives Out! What a perfect first issue to receive. Loved the feature on the Substack blog :)

I read it last Jan. when my neighborhood was shut down after January 6th (I live on Capitol Hill) and it was just what I needed then.

Hi Elizabeth!
Sorry to bother you in this comment section!
I saw this (https://on.substack.com/p/grow-series-6) and I was amazed at how many free signups you have, so I wonder if you could help me out in this comment section: https://join.substack.com/p/how-do-you-turn-views-into-signups.
Some other people have left interesting comments in that comment section, so be sure to check out what they had to say!
Sincerely,
